Test Prep:
SAT, ACT, AP Exams

Reading and Writing Tutoring

As an AP Literature teacher and test-prep tutor, I know the ins and outs of these exams, including strategies that lead to a rapid improvement in scores on the English, Reading and Writing portions of these tests.

I provide support for the following tests:

  • ACT: English and Reading sections

  • SAT: Reading and Writing sections

  • AP Literature: Multiple choice and essays

  • AP Language: Multiple choice and essays

  • AP Lit and Lang: Class support

With 5 years of experience in the high school classroom and 10+ years as a tutor, I have taught literacy to students age 5-25. I provide remote or in-person tutoring, depending on your location.​

I tutor the following reading and writing subjects:

  • College essay  and personal statement 

  • Writing for fun—storywriting, poetry, etc.

  • Essay help

  • Reading comprehension

  • Literary analysis 

  • General English help (for school)
